How to check and manage your 3CX voicemail

You can access your company voicemail from your desk phone, another employee's desk phone, 3CX app or from outside the office.

This flexibility allows you to check and manage your voicemail messages whether you are at your desk, working from another location within the office, or away from the office entirely.

 

To check your voicemail from your desk phone

1.      Press voicemail button (envelope or recording icon) or dial 99999

2.      Enter your pin number when prompted followed by #

 

To check your voicemail from any company phone (not your own extension) or 3CX app

1.      Press voicemail button (envelope or recording icon) or dial 99999

2.      Press the # key when prompted for the pin number

3.      Enter your extension number when prompted

4.      Enter your pin number when prompted, followed by #

 

To check voicemail from outside the office

1.      Dial the main business telephone line

2.      Dial 99999 when the welcome recording is playing

3.      Enter the extension number when prompted

4.      Enter your pin number when prompted, followed by #

 

After listing your voicemail information

The initial options you are presented with are the following:

  1. Dial * to play your messages.
  2. Dial “9” to go to options.
  3. Dial pound “#” to exit.

When you dial “9” for options, the following options will be announced by the voicemail system. 

Dial the respective numbers to change and update these features:

  1. Dialing “1” allows you to change your profile status.
  2. Dialing “3” allows you to dial a number.
  3. Dialing “4” allows you to delete all read messages.
  4. Dialing “5” allows you change your self-identification message.
  5. Dialing “6” allows you to play mailbox information.
  6. Dialing “7” allows you change your voicemail PIN number.
  7. Dialing “8” allows you to change your greeting message.
  8. Dialing “9” allows you to restart the voice menu prompts.
